SOD-123 Trigger Diode (DIAC)

triger-diode-sod-123

New SODDB3/ SODDB3T DIACs (bi-directional trigger diodes) have been released.

These DIACs offer a reverse breakover voltage (VBO) of 32 V and a maximum power dissipation (PD) of 400 mW.

Based on planar process technology the leakage current is measured
at <1 μA (IR<10μA@VB=½VBO) with a stable high temperature performance.

Available in wire-bonded gull-wing SOD-123 package they are ideally suited for automatic assembly and offer better reliability than traditional DO-35 and
MMELF package DB3 DIACs.

Features and Benefits:

  • Surface Mount Device SOD-123 packaged
  • VBO=32V DB3
  • Max. PD=400mW
  • Pb free and RoHS compliant
  • High temperature soldering guaranteed: 260°C/10s
  • Weight: 10.55mg

Applications:

  • Thyrisitors phase control
  • Circuits forlamp dimming
  • Universal motor speed control and heat control
